Upgrades 

To upgrade from version 1.03/a/b/c/d/e or 1.04 to 1.06, preserving your previous work.ons.

• Note: you must have an administrator password for AngloLAN to perform this upgrade.
• To preserve your previous work, use Windows Explorer to rename the database AngloLAN.mdb ( Usually to be found under C:\Program Files\AngloLAN\AngloLAN.mdb ) to AngloLAN-old.mdb.
• Download AngloLAN_106b_install.zip
• Unzip the file and install the software by running setup.exe
• Rename the newly installed  AngloLAN.mdb ( Usually to be found under C:\Program Files\AngloLAN\AngloLAN.mdb ) to AngloLAN-new.mdb. This database contains new questions but not your previous work.
• Rename AngloLAN-old.mdb to AngloLAN.mdb
• Start AngloLAN
• Chose "Yes" when asked to upgrade your database. Your old database structure has now been upgraded.
• Logon as an administrator
• From the menu, choose Admin/Import Questions
• Click the Import button
• Click OK in the information dialog
• Navigate to the file AngloLAN-new.mdb
• Click OK
• Wait
• When you see the message "Import Complete" the new questions are in your AngloLAN.mdb database, and will appear in the topics index.

Note, if you do not want to keep your previous work you can simply overwrite your old database by installing from setup.exe in AngloLAN_106b_install.zip and choosing "Yes" when asked if you want to overwrite AngloLAN.mdb.
